WomenWelly · Strong body. Clear head. Better information.

About WomenWelly

WomenWelly is an online-only women's health magazine. Evidence-led reporting on fitness, health, nutrition, beauty and the mind — reviewed by clinicians and free to read, always.

What we are

WomenWelly is an online-only women's health magazine. We publish reporting on fitness, health, nutrition, beauty, weight, sex and relationships, life and the mind — and we do it without a paywall.

We were founded in 2026 in London on a straightforward premise: women's health has been under-researched, under-explained and over-sold to for a very long time, and the internet has made the sorting problem worse rather than better. The gap we are trying to fill is not a lack of information. It is a lack of information you can trust at the moment you need it.

How we work

Everything is free. There is no paywall on this site and we do not plan to add one. Membership of WomenWelly+ is also free — it adds plans, guides and a direct line to the desk, and it takes nothing away from people who never join.

Clinicians review our health reporting. Every story that makes a health claim is read before publication by a member of our medical review board, who is named on the piece. They check accuracy, not tone, and they can and do send things back.

We buy what we test. No press samples, no sponsored verdicts, no affiliate arrangements that pay differently depending on which product we recommend. When something is not worth the money we say so.

We correct things in public. Corrections appear on the article, dated, describing what was wrong. We do not quietly edit and move on.

What we will not do

We do not run detox content, we do not publish before-and-after weight loss photography, and we do not write about food in the language of virtue and sin.

We do not accept payment to cover a product, a clinic or a supplement, and we do not let commercial partners see copy before publication.

We do not pretend to certainty we do not have. Where the evidence is genuinely contested, the piece will say so — that is more useful than a confident answer that turns out to be wrong.

If you think we have got something wrong, please tell us — corrections are the fastest way to improve a publication, and we would rather hear it from you than not at all.
